About Me
I'm a single father of two teenagers and owner of an Internet company. In my spare time, I design and shoot fireworks displays (indoor and outdoor) work on house renovations and explore the world around me. I've been divorced now for 8 years and I'm ready and excited to meet new friends and opportunities to see where it goes.
I like to keep a clean house (but not obsessive about it) and enjoy designing, renovating and budgeting my remodels. I'm not really the bar hopping, party goer, but perfectly fine in social situations. I often find myself in Southern Utah in a slot canyon or remote ridgetop at sunset (with a fire, of course) just pondering and telling completely unbelievable stories with my friends. I can also vegge in front of a Hallmark movie on a lazy weekend.

Why I created this Site
I created this site to find that one special person whom I can laugh with, cry with, hike with, camp with, cook with, encourage, finish raising kids with, and above all, grow-up with. I also created it because I have the knowledge and why NOT market myself, I'm totally worth it! ;)
Highlights
Here are a few highlights about me personally that make me who I am.
Time Appropriate
Even though I run a company I am very careful about personal/work separation. Family time is family time.
Romantic
Roses, gifts, surprise breakfast in bed or just cuddling in front of a movie. Although if you laugh at my poetry, we're done.
Spontaneous
I am generally a planner, but on occasion I have been known to be fully spontaneous and go on a trip on a moments notice.
Outdoor Activities
I love exploring and canyoneering in Southern Utah. I crave the road less traveled and really enjoy third-world countries as opposed to a tourist trap. ... Although, I have never been on a cruise and would like to try it sometime.
Board Games
I like board/card games that make you think and work together as a team and feel disdain for any game that makes you draw something that is not a stick figure.
Temperament
I am generally a laid-back even temperament, rarely ever get angry and learn more by listening than speaking. Well chosen, kind words and little judgement is more my style.
What I am Looking For
It is my desire to meet an active, mother (45 - 55) who knows how to exude compassion, show love and respect for the people around her. (but still a little feisty and knows who she is) Why a mother? I believe that as you raise children you gain a level of compassion, love, understanding and self-control that is different than someone who does not have those experiences... but I could be wrong. I dare you to surprise me.
Children: I really like children and will welcome any kids (or grand-kids) you may have. I can sometimes be a bit of a child myself so I'm not worried about us not getting along. I can beat anyone in a Minecraft building competition but if you have a girl, she might kick my butt in ballet. (but, I look really good in a TuTu trying to impress her)
Body Type: Active to moderately active. (This is NOT a looks thing) I like to do hiking and outdoor activities and especially in slot canyons. I'd like my companion to explore some of the same passions that I do, with me and vice-versa.
Appearance: No preconceived preferences. Asian, Hispanic, Blonde hair, black hair, long hair, tall or short. I rarely judge a book by its cover.
